INTRODUCTION
A. Problem
Background
Mathematics is formed as a result of human thought
associated with the ideas, processes, and reasoning (Ruseffendi ET, 1980: 148).
Mathematics is viewed by most teachers as well as students or subjects
difficult to learn or teach. Difficult to study because many less encouraging
results for each student after following the process of learning or completing
a test or exam math. The results of students' mathematics learning is always
lower than the results of student learning in other subjects. Teachers teach
difficulties due to various efforts from planning, implementation and
evaluation carried out do not work as expected.
